We empower vulnerable communities in Northern Kenya and the Mandera Triangle through education, healthcare, gender equality, and economic empowerment. Our initiatives address critical challenges, fostering long-term resilience and sustainable development.
Give & Grow Community Development Organization (GaGCDO) Works with communities to advocate for and protect human rights, save and improve the lives of the most vulnerable, poorest, and marginalized families affected by poverty and/or crisis, and empower women and children to reach their full potential.
Driven by our mission to reach the furthest left behind to defeat poverty and ensure equal opportunities, GAGCDO focuses on empowering women and girls, recognizing that gender equality is critical for lasting change. The organization places women and girls at the center of our work, ensuring that they can access their rights, participate in decision-making, and benefit from economic opportunities.
We foster peaceful coexistence by promoting dialogue, reconciliation, and community-driven solutions to conflicts. Our initiatives focus on mediation, strengthening social cohesion, and empowering local leaders to resolve disputes and prevent violence.
We work with communities to prevent radicalization by promoting education, mentorship, and economic empowerment. Through awareness campaigns, skills training, and engagement with at-risk youth, we address the root causes of extremism and build resilient communities.
We strengthen agricultural practices, promote sustainable livelihoods, and support climate adaptation strategies. By introducing modern farming techniques, diversifying income sources, and enhancing disaster preparedness, we help communities secure food and economic stability.
We work to end FGM by educating communities on its harmful effects, engaging traditional circumcisers in alternative livelihoods, and rescuing at-risk girls. Our approach includes advocacy, policy enforcement, and support services to protect girls from this practice.
We ensure adolescents and youth have access to life-saving SRH information and services in crisis situations. Through mobile clinics, peer education, digital outreach, and dignity kits, we provide critical reproductive health support in emergency settings.
We advocate for gender equality by empowering women through leadership training, economic opportunities, and access to education. Our programs aim to break social barriers, challenge harmful norms, and create an inclusive society where women and girls thrive.
We enhance access to clean water, improve sanitation facilities, and promote hygiene education to prevent waterborne diseases. Our efforts focus on sustainable water sources, community sanitation programs, and advocating for improved WASH services in schools and health centers.
